Staci acquires LM2S and strengthens its expertise in last mile and spare parts logistics

Paris, 13 March 2023 – Staci, leader in multi-channel picking logistics, is acquiring its partner LM2S, a strategic move that continues a successful collaboration that began in 2006.

Founded in 2006, LM2S has established itself as a major player in last-mile logistics for the spare parts sector. LM2S relies on an integrated ‘logistics and transport’ offering tailored to the needs of the market: business teams available 24/7, a network of 250 partners in France managed centrally, a multi-service transport plan including reverse management.

Perfectly in line with Staci’s values, this strength in optimised, made-to-measure logistics prompted the leader in picking logistics to acquire its long-standing partner:

“We were one of LM2S’s first customers in 2006. Over time, LM2S has been able to broaden the range of its services, in particular through the development of a transport plan enabling the delivery of spare parts on D+1 before 8am throughout France with extremely high service rates to its PUDO® (Pick Up, Drop Off) network. So when the partners at LM2S decided to sell the company, we saw this as a natural and strategic move,” explains Thomas Mortier, CEO of Staci.

Strengthening its range of customised logistics services

In addition to mastering the last mile, Staci intends to strengthen its already significant offering in the activity and management of spare parts to reach 250 depots and storage points in France. ‘Above all, we are acquiring a network that is unique in France and a team with real expertise,’ stresses Thomas Mortier. Staci will be able to offer a complete range of local, urgent, night-time and last-mile delivery services, all with the agility and responsiveness that have been its hallmarks for many years.

‘This acquisition is a logical extension of the relationship we have built up with Staci over almost 20 years. Staci is committed to maintaining the current organisation and developing it further, and we have every confidence in its ability to continue developing what we have been doing since 2006,’ concludes Alexandre Guesdon, founder of LM2S.
